"Fallen Angels," by Walter Dean Myers is a very exciting book. I like the story of the main character Richie Perry. Perry is a very interesting guy,he is seeking for a better opportunity in life. He left his family back home in New York to try to do something new since he couldn't afford a college tuition. So far the book is all about toughness, Perry went through sad things when a person he barely knew in the army, past away. Perry made new friends at the army he was really friendly with them and straight forward, telling them what he feels. Even though Perry is always a little bit nervous patrolling, he is brave enough to do his role. He basically has nothing in his life but his friends from the army and his family back in New York. When he was in high school Perry loves playing basketball, he is really good at it too. The quote that i found interesting was pg.13, "I finished high school, but I hadn't gone to the graduation exercise. It just hadn't make sense anymore."
